How can I be sure that my data is removed from my device?

What if my device, make or model is not listed?
If you do not know the model of your mobile phone you can usually find it printed underneath the battery or in the devices settings. For devices that are not listed please contact us at support@ibuybroken.com. In your email please indicate the make, mode

What happens to my device once it gets recycled?
If the device or any its components cannot be reused it will be fully recycled to extract raw materials. Any materials that cannot be recycled will be safely disposed off and will not end up in landfills.

What happens if I send a stolen device?
We check each item in the national database to identify if the device has been stolen. If so, the device will be sent back to you and/or will be reported to the authorities.

I have shipped my device out for recycling but have forgotten to delete the data that was on the device?
Once the phone is received, the first step we take is to wipe clean any personal data that was stored on the device. This is to ensure that there is no personal data left on the device for others to access.

How long does it take for my device to reach you?
If you have use the prepaid shipping kit, it takes 2 to 5 business days or more over busy periods for items to arrive.

Do I need to pay for shipping?
No, it’s totally free if you have selected to receive our prepaid shipping kit during checkout. Only if you choose to save time and ship it by yourself you have to pay shipping costs including insurance.
